The Digital Water Curtain becomes a monumental gateway entrance to Bicentennial Park. With 16 meters long and 6 meters high, that is almost 100 m2 projection screen.
The digital water curtain, as a street furniture element of a new nature, performs several functions:
– During the day it is a refreshing meeting place where visitors contemplate the evolution of the changing water forms and people can play and interact with the DWC, which automatically opens to allow the people to go through it without getting wet. It is an innovative information point about announcing news of interest to citizens that are sent from the control center.
– At night, the DWC is a spectacle of light and color, illuminated by high-performance LED light color that allows the Digital Water Curtain to be colored with more than 16 million color combinations. A powerful 12,000-lumen projector and a laser color beam project information notices and advertisements on the water screen with a projection surface of over 100 m2.
